After meeting up with bishop Theophile and Jackie, our interpreter, we took off to travel the streets of Kigali. I was most amazed by the hundreds of motorcycle taxis weaving in and out of traffic. I could not believe how they drive. I couldn’t tell if it was bad driving or really good driving. Everyone was cutting each other off, but no one seemed to care. They were very nice about almost killing each other. Pedestrians were no different. Many people just walking right out in front of the cars who just did their best to go around them. We could learn a lesson from the extreme patience they show toward each other.

A few months ago Bruce was praying for more people to join Team Inzozi. I prayed for God to send me. God answered both of our prayers and I’m extremely thankful to be here. We had a great day today with everything going according to our plans. I love the people here. Everyone is really friendly, especially Theophile and Jackie, our interpreter. Going to the genocide museum was heartbreaking, but I am grateful and amazed about the forgiveness that the Rwandan people have after experiencing such an act of pure evil.

Besides seeing old friends and enjoying great food, we have already been blessed with a clear vision for the Ladies restroom for the school. The facility will be linked to the Gasarabwayi church women’s cooperative. Restrooms are often neglected at schools, so we will build the restroom on church property next door to the school to maintain high standards in order to provide the best ministry to the teachers and students. Please keep praying for more divine interventions as we shop for critical equipment for our sanitation project.
