Global Outreach Trips in 2017
We believe when people engage in service, it leads to life change. So Manchester Christian Church currently provides trip opportunities for people to serve together in Rwanda, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. Our belief is that as people choose to serve, whether in one of our churches, in the local community, or around the world, the impact of that service will change lives—for those serving, for the people they serve, and even for those that see them choosing to give their time to help someone else.
The Global Trip Information meetings have already taken place but if you are still interested in participating a 2017 global outreach trip, click here. You have until October 30, 2016 to submit your application and deposit.

One Day of Thanks
There are many in Manchester that don't have friends or families to share a warm meal with for the holiday. Many also sleep or spend the day outside, without adequate clothing for a New Hampshire winter. On Saturday, November 19, 2016, Manchester Christian Church (MCC) is hosting One Day of Thanks at the Salvation Army (located at 121 Cedar Street) in downtown Manchester. We will provide a Thanksgiving dinner and warm clothing to show the love of Jesus to our homeless and under-resourced neighbors.

Host a SNHU International Student for Thanksgiving
Southern New Hampshire University’s International Student Services office offers the Thanksgiving Hosts Program to its international students and the SNHU and greater Manchester communities. The program matches interested students with volunteer hosts willing to invite two or more students to share their family’s Thanksgiving celebration. Many of the international students are eager for the chance to visit an American family and learn more about our culture and traditions. Newer arrivals feel most comfortable when they can bring a fellow student, and are looking for folks who can accommodate two or more guests.
If you are interested in inviting two or more international students to join your family’s Thanksgiving celebration, please click here to download the host family application. Complete the form and email it to Debbie at email@example.com by November 4th. Questions? Call 603-645-9676.
